Day 1 | ARRIVAL IN LOS ANGELES

Arrival in Los Angeles, the “City of Angels”. Accommodations close to the airport.

Day 2 | LOS ANGELES – DEATH VALLEY

Continue north to Death Valley, one of the hottest regions in the world and a place of unexpected contrasts. See large sand dune formations, sculpted rocks, isolated valleys and volcanic craters.

Day 3 | DEATH VALLEY – LAS VEGAS

Leave Death Valley behind and drive to Las Vegas, the Entertainment Capital of the world where you will spend two nights. 140 Miles | 225 Km

Day 4 | LAS VEGAS

A full day to explore the “City That Never Sleeps”. Explore the iconic casinos, cool down on a river rafting trip down the Colorado River or take an exciting helicopter tour to the West rim of Grand Canyon. In the evening be sure to take in one of the world-class shows!

Day 5 | LAS VEGAS – ZION NATIONAL PARK

Leave the dusty brown mountain ranges of Nevada and drive into Utah with its stunning red rocks. At Zion National Park, sculpted rock formations coexist with waterfalls and hanging gardens. Enjoy the Zion Canyon, a spectacular gorge of strangely colored sandstone carved by the Virgin River. 135 Miles | 216 Km

Day 6 | ZION NATIONAL PARK – BRYCE CANYON

In Bryce Canyon you can see some of the Earth’s most colorful rocks, sculpted by water and wind into pillars and other fantastic forms. Drive to several viewpoints or hike one of the loop trails.

Day 7 | BRYCE CANYON – LAKE POWELL

Don’t miss Bryce Canyon at sunrise! You arrive at Lake Powell by early afternoon where you spend two nights. 150 Miles | 240 Km

Day 8 | LAKE POWELL

Spend the day at Lake Powell. One of the major attractions is a boat tour out to the Rainbow Bridge, the tallest natural bridge in the world. Tours to Antelope Canyon – a slot canyon and one of the world’s most unusual geological formations – can also be arranged.

Day 9 | LAKE POWELL – MONUMENT VALLEY

Monument Valley is one of the most photographed places in America. You can tour parts of it on your own or take a jeep tour to some of the more remote spots. 125 Miles | 200 Km

Day 10 | MONUMENT VALLEY – GRAND CANYON

Continue through the Navajo Indian Reservation. Cameron Trading Post just before the east entrance to the Grand Canyon is worth a stop to sample an authentic Navajo Taco and to shop its vast selection of Southwest souvenirs. Arrive early afternoon at the Grand Canyon where you spend two nights.

Day 11 | GRAND CANYON

The day is yours to enjoy the Grand Canyon – ride along the rim in the free shuttle buses or walk between the different viewpoints. Arrange a helicopter flight over the Canyon for an unsurpassed aerial view.

Day 12 | GRAND CANYON – SCOTTSDALE

Don’t miss Sedona or Montezuma Castle on the drive to Scottsdale, where you can enjoy a large selection of art galleries, restaurants and shopping, or simply relax at the hotel pool. 250 Miles | 400 Km

Day 13 | SCOTTSDALE – LA QUINTA

On the way to Palm Springs area you can visit Joshua Tree National Park. Palm Springs also offers great shopping and restaurants and the beautiful Indian Canyons with waterfalls and palm trees.
